Of course. Global domination is the goal of communism/socialism. It cant really work without it. If you have a country that is "different" then it's perceived successes will always be attributed to "exploitation" or "oppression."

America and the west are the great oppressors, because shit that happened 400 years ago, some random black kid who grabbed at a white woman got kilt, or some other random reason. However, inspite of the west's sincere attempts and successes of correcting social, political and legal policies, the west are STILL the oppressors BECAUSE we are "outside" the normative. It's the leftist "othering" on the opposite end of the scale.

Narry a word on members of the collective, see any nation in Africa, or open communist/socialist nations and their far more egregious violations. For example, Merica bad, because black man overdoses, meanwhile, schoolgirls in Africa are taken off to be sex slaves because of their religion and them wanting to learn stuff.

Read "1848: A Year of Revolution." By Mike Rapport. It lays out the precursors to the Socialist/Communist/Fascist Revolutions that swept Europe in the early 1900's. It of course over simplifies the whole movement, but it gives an interesting synopsis of what was occuring in Europe socially, economically, and politically pertaining to the shift in populist viewpoint.

And it's a little less tin-foily. So you can mention it to your non-tin-foily friends you want to impress.
